On the occasion of Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday in July 2008, Australia honoured him with a Life Story on Film.  This personalised documentary features interviews with and comment from a broad range of Australians, including prominent figures such as Malcolm Fraser, Cathy Freeman, Gail Kelly and Jeff McMullen.  It is a gift from the Australian office of the charity, MaAfrika Tikkun, of which Mr Mandela is Chief Patron.  This is a short excerpt (16.5MB to download) of the final documentary which was around 40 minutes long.

Dave Goodman grew up in London and some of his earliest memories are of the German Blitz in 1940-41.  This film, a gift for Mr Goodman from his daughter, Kerry, is a celebration of his life.  In this seven minute excerpt (21.6MB to download), Dave describes his love of jazz, dancing and motorbikes, and the comically unromantic way in which he proposed to his wife.  The complete Life Story on Film was one hour long.
